> 3 dayAfter smoking the bearings on a trailer on a recent trip to the back country, I realize that that is an experience I never want to repeat. After getting back from the terrible experience, I bought these to add to my trailer. Some tip from my experience adding these: A) It is easy to remove your old bearing shrowd and tap these on with a rubber mallet B) Take the time to remove the bearings and pack them with new grease before adding these. C) Make sure you have a grease gun with a large reservoir. Once you add these you will need to pump a ton of grease into the hub in order that the spring plate on these starts to see positive pressure. D) The rubber cap is a little cheap and has come off the trailer. Had to order a new one. Not a big enough issue to ding these.

> 3 dayIf your trailer is used in salt water environments, these buddies are essential. Used with the provided covers, they keep the grease and saltwater separate. I wont go near the water without them.

> 3 daydoes not leak grease have used this product on my first boat trailer and every trailer I have had since 1970 never had a problem with any one of them and never had a bearing burn off on the side of the road works well with brakes on trailer if you do not try to overfill the cup. Have purchased 16 sets for work trailers over last 50 years
