Greater than one weekOk guys, when it comes to mini Pcs, this has got to be the top. From the processor, to the amount of RAM, even down to the SSD inside with an expansion slot...I mean come on! Something this small should not have room for additional hard drives! But inside is has a 2.5 port for an additional SSD. It already has 512gb.

Greater than one weekIve bought many mini PCs over the years, using them to power anything from TV Digital Signage to Photo Booths. This mini PC, is by far the most powerful one Ive purchased. With a solid i5 processor, plenty of memory and hard drive this PC has taken anything Ive thrown at it and kept up with ease. I feel like Im underutilizing it as a TV multimedia box, and need to put it to better use with its dual screen HDMI support.

> 3 dayI previously purchased this unit with Windows 10 Pro on it. I convinced my brother to purchase the same unit SPECIFICALLY BECAUSE it was advertised as coming with Windows 10 Pro. Instead, his unit came with Windows 11 Pro installed. I have been pleased with my Windows 10 Pro unit, but Windows 11 might as well be malware with its mandatory creation of an online Microsoft account, completely rearranged desktop environment, etc. I had to use a hack to bypass the mandatory account creation.

> 3 dayBeing from the IT world, Ive seen and used many platforms and many devices, but this little dynamo hits it out of the park! It took all of maybe 10 minutes from opening the box to being up, running, and fully functional. I primarily run the Adobe CC suite and a DAW for music production. These applications were lightning fast with no hiccups whatsoever. Boot time is less than 30 seconds and amazingly, comes with Windows 10 pro. I plan on upgrading to 32 gb RAM and adding a additional SSD to push it to the limit, but it runs just fine as is.

> 3 dayIt works okay, although it goes to sleep at times without my permission. Its small, so that worked well on my small desktop. The HDMI and USB ports were nice and enough for my needs. Its okay for the state of current personal computers.

> 3 dayIn addition to its compact size, this tiny mini PC offers two RAM slots for even faster operations. In fact, it performs better than my current laptop. I got a cheap travel laptop with the same CPU (8th gen i5-8279U) and I love how fast it is. Having two RAM slots definitely makes a difference. This CPU appears to be a viable choice for the most recent cost-effective devices. I did not notice a significant difference from my wifes 11th gen i5 laptop. It was disappointing that it did not come with the SATA harness cables for adding additional storage, as it was shown on several YouTube videos. In the video I posted, you can hear the fan noise. The noise is neither loud nor quiet. It supports 4K displays without any problems. It is an excellent value, especially with a coupon. A VESA mount is included!

> 3 dayIf you are looking for a computer for a home media server, then you should buy one of these. There is no need for a graphics card since this mini pc has an Intel i5-8279 which has Intels Iris Plus Graphics 655. That supports up to 3 monitors. Also, when it comes to using this CPU for transcoding on a media server, I have read that people managed to hit 24 simultaneous 1080P to 720P transcodes or more. I wont be using it for that many, but it shows how good these processors are.
