Very slow if used as a htpc/plex has issues playing 1080p context with direct play. 4k YouTube videos you well notice lag. Seems to handle handle a mild modded Minecraft server ok with just a few people. Box gets super hot to the touch so thermal throttle is happening if you use 100% of it. Just avoid anything that needs the video chip side of the cpu.

Got the beelink s12 pro. It beats my expectations. Snappy and getting 50-70 fps in LoL. More than enough to run as htpc and home server as what I bought it for. I reapplied thermal paste as they were hard I learned from Reddit. Hoping this little beast will last as some reviews said it died in little less than 6 months. Took off 1 star for bad thermal paste.

I got this to be the brain in my entertainment/TV center. I use it to access live streaming via my Starlink super-fast internet, whether that’s entertainment content or news, and I also play recorded videos, movies and music. With this mini-computer, I don’t need a 3rd party TV interface at all. It comes with Windows 11 Pro installed, the first time I’ve used this software, and it’s intuitive and has run flawlessly.

This mini PC is very small which is a double edged sword. Its easy to hide away and fits anywhere. But its missing some ports like USB C and the fan, while normally quite, has a very unique sound profile.

What a great little PC! Its just a 4 core celeron so dont expect too much from it. Its a nice little PC for web browsing, editing office documents, or streaming Hulu, YouTube, etc. I have this for my nursery because Im usually up with our baby all times of night. I needed something small as its a little room and the computer had to be small. I figured it doesnt get much smaller than this, and the PC Sticks that they make are super underpowered. So it was time for for the NUC to do its thing.

Im a Beelink Fan! This is not my first Mini S, and while not cutting edge or high performance Ive found them to be a great mix of well chosen cheaper products in a nice package. Ive only run Linux on them, but I did play around with Windows 11 for a few minutes on this one. Id like to explore more later - its really nice to get a licensed copy of the Pro version, though admittedly Im not sure what that means anymore on Windows.

They should have named this little jewel Samson because it is a giant killer :) I replaced my aging Win 10 desktop which took up a huge space on my desk. I added a second SSD just because I had a 1 TB drive, which I had bought intending to upgrade my old desktop. I also bought a USB DVD drive that added 3 ports. It runs cool and I have had zero issues with anything.

Affordable and powerful little PC that would work great for a variety of different projects and applications. Good for a home media server, too.
