> 3 dayI have known this Taiwanese brand for years and owned their accessories before from CD-Rs to their card media readers and the brand grew into me as trusted and dependable. The screen quality itself is superb for an IPS panel. The contrast ratio may not seem like the ones you see on Korean brands of the same type of display but the colors are bright and are faithfully reproduced if you can manually tweak the display settings bypassing their Eye care tech. The only thing that keeps me from giving this product 5 stars is the price for the refresh rate it has. We now have plenty of same-sized panels from MSI and even Asus with the same display for slightly above the price with higher refresh rates as of this review. Also, their built-in speakers are weak and you will have to provide your own. You cant increase the volume past a certain limit even if you plugged in your own speakers.

> 3 dayPros: - 3 inputs: VGA, HDMI, DP - has speakers - Ambient light sensor - VESA 100 - Narrow bezel - Stand with cable management - Bright IPS and nice colors - Good OSD with DDC/CI (this is when you can adjust settings via software, in addition to the monitor buttons) Cons: - Only 60 Hz - Matte finish, not glossy (just my personal taste, although some people might find this a plus) Generally good feature set compared to similarly priced models. Honestly I had in mind other monitors but they were either out of stock or had issues with the connector locations when mounting to VESA 75 (meaning the mount plate on my VESA 100/75 dual monitor stand would block the connectors on a VESA 75 monitor, specifically the Philips 246E9QDSB). In any case, I settled for this one and cant complain. Im sure you can find others at this price range just as good or perhaps trading off features such as 75 Hz but only with two inputs for example. Or maybe no IPS or not VESA compatible. I use this for basic desktop applications, work, etc. Not a gaming monitor, although if you are not a hardcore gamer you may get away with this. If you have an nVidia card you can set the RGB dynamic range from 16-235 to 0-255. This means that youll use the full color gamut the monitor can handle and get (marginally) better contrast and more colors. Not a massive noticeable improvement, but its there. Image is pretty good and even (not much backlight bleed). The monitor is 60 Hz out of the box but I overclocked it to 75 Hz using the nVidia control panel. You can verify your refresh rate. I searched online for hz checker and used www.testufo.com. I confirmed the before and after refresh and it works fine. Do it at your own risk as I dont know anything about overclocking monitor refresh rate. The last thing Im gonna say is not necessarily specific to this monitor, but it grinds my gears that its so hard to find a gloss finish monitor this days. Most are matte finish. I personally prefer gloss because the colors tend to be more vivid. Reflections dont bother me as much as the washed out color effect you get on a matte monitor.

> 3 dayI felt my big 32-inch screen was burning holes in my eyes and dreaded coming to the office! This screen has made a huge difference. Though it is smaller, it is easier to face each day. The light is mellow, softer, and not painful. If you feel your screen is burning holes in your eyes, try this!

> 3 dayGot this monitor because my old one met a tragic fate of falling off of my desk (thankfully I have a monitor mount now). Overall its a pretty good monitor. I dont use it for gaming or anything, but the quality seems pretty decent. One of the downsides I see from the monitor is that the color is very almost washed compared to my main monitor, which, even after some color correction, I still cant seem to fix. The monitor isnt really good for gaming at all. Its 60hz, which is not optimal in the slightest for more intense games. Ideally, a monitor like h this is better suited to be a budget monitor or a second monitor.

> 3 day**************UPDATE After 1-Full Day Using****************** My initial concern with this monitor (detailed below) was its poor text rendering--very fuzzy letters. After using the monitor for a whole day and night, another major problem has arisen: I cant adjust screen brightness when the room is dim (such as when using the monitor at night). The light from auto-adjust is so bright it makes it hard to keep looking at the screen. This was a great price for a 24-inch monitor, but between the fuzzy text and the too great brightness, the monitor will have to go back, sadly. **********Original Review************** We just got this monitor. Set up was VERY easy relative to other monitors weve bought. Up and running in 5-minutes. We appreciate the cord management system, too. We fit both the power cord and the audio/video cord in the slot inside the arm that holds up the monitor. Its also very easy to adjust brightness and color profiles using the buttons under the monitor next to the always-lit (but unobtrusive) white LED power button. What we werent prepared for, having used for many years now only retina displays, is how painful it is to look at a 1080p... screen. Makes me feel like Im back in elementary school with those ancient machines whose screens were difficult to look at for more than an hour. The resolution of this monitor makes it suitable ONLY for videos the quality of which we dont care about. We wouldnt want to watch a movie on it. More importantly, text renders very blurry (maybe this is just standard for 1080p). We wanted an additional monitor so we could separate our coding tasks, but the fuzziness of 1080p defeats the purpose since we cant look at the characters long without hurting our eyes. One marginal (still unsatisfactory) solution weve found is to stand at least 3 feet away from the screen. But still, looking back and forth between a retina screen and the 1080p screen almost gives us vertigo. Were floored at how poor non-retina, non-4K... resolution is (for text, especially). Why is there still a demand for fuzzy text-rendering screens in 2021? Were pretty sure well send this back and cough up the substantially higher fee for a 4K monitor that renders text suitable for many hours of screen reading.

> 3 dayNeeded to replace my dual monitor setup to support me working from home. After reading reviews, took a chance with the BenQ monitors. I have never heard of the brand but seemed like they were trending in the right direction. Wow, really happy with the decision. Crisp images with brilliant colors and an edge to edge display. Packing (five stars): Monitors were packed really well with no parts bouncing or sliding around in the box. Contents could survive a short fall. Setup (five stars): There is not a lot to the setup. Comes with instructions and stand. Easy to install, took less than five minutes. Keep in mind it comes with an HDMI cable. If you have a different interface, buy the cable. Picture Quality (five stars): I am not sure it was because I was previously using such an old monitor from before but the picture is bright, vivid, and crisp. Really love the small of bezel. I tried a couple of games and it seemed the monitor kept up with the frame rate demand with no stuttering/shifting. Overall, a great product and would recommend to my family and friends.

> 3 dayI had to replace my 10 year old monitor when it finally blew up. I wanted something nice but affordable. This unit was indeed a good price at the moment I was shopping. I wanted to replace my secondary monitor as well, but wanted to try one of these before adding another. Bad decision. The first one arrived and I was instantly in love. Colors are bright, the frame is very, very thin, and the display is very crisp. Im no longer much of a gamer, so I cant comment on using one for gaming, but for all of my needs this one was perfect. The day after receiving the monitor, I came back to buy another one, but there were none to be had unless I wanted to pay double what Id paid for the first one. I was patient and waited. After a few weeks it came back at the lower price and I snagged a second one. An hour after I ordered my second one, they were out of stock at the low price again. Im not sure I would pay the regular retail price for this monitor, but then again Im frugal. For a monitor in my price range this was far beyond the quality that I expected. Ultimately I added an inexpensive dual monitor arm and Ive never been so pleased with a setup in my life. Ive had the first monitor about a month, so I cant yet speak to its long-term performance, but the initial impression is that these are the nicest monitors Ive ever used.
