Been looking a while for a nice upgrade to my old 1080p 60hz monitor. This one finally came across my screen and I was pretty much sold.. 2k quality is a nice improvement in my gaming while not taking too much of a hit on frames.. The color quality and brightness of this monitor blows my old one away. Needless to say, Im extremely happy with my purchase. About the speakers, I mean dont expect too much but they are definitely a nice addition.. I usually use my M-AUDIO monitors as desk speakers but I can see using the monitors speakers when I want to play late at night and still dont want to have headphones on.. Its a nice addition either way. Definitely not unwelcomed. Overall I just love this monitor.. Only been with it a day so if things change ill update but overall very very happy with it.

Been doing tons of research for a PS5 and work monitor. Hands down, the coolest monitor I have ever owned. I see complaints about the brightness, it is plenty bright to the human eye with HDR, not sure what that was all about. Even started watching movies on it. Horizon 2 looks stunning on this monitor, just in absolute aww, couldnt put it down this weekend. Speakers are plenty load and crisp, easy to plug in play with no headset. 1440p has not released on the PS5 yet, expected on the next update. Currently, upscales to 4K on the PS5, not getting 120 fps when upscaling (works in 1080). Update: PS5 now running 120 fps and 1440p. Totally worth it.

The most remarkable thing about this monitor is that it has a a remote. The TLDR version of this review is that BenQ is using an obscure or new remote code to control this monitor that you most likely won’t find is compatible with your universal remote. This is a huge fail on the part of BenQ since the only reason you’d want a remote is to control the monitor remotely while using a different device (presumably with its own remote). I also own a 4K ASUS monitor in the same price range and it’s per much exactly the same (but a little cheaper). So if we’re being honest here, the only thing that sets this monitor apart is a feature rendered largely useless in practical application. I bought it as a second monitor that could be used as a dual display or, when hooked up to my Roku, act as a 4K TV. The Roku universal remote for the Roku Stick+ has both IR and Bluetooth. It also is programmable with an insane amount of codes, including 12 remote codes for BenQ TVs. Yes, that’s right, they didn’t use one of these existing codes and opted to use an obscure or new one. Since the stick is behind the display, you’ll need to control it via Bluetooth and I know of no “learning” universals that come with that capability. Sometimes remote codes used by a different manufacturer will work but I have‘my found any and I’ve spent over an hour trying every name brand you’ve likely heard and some you haven’t.

I have had it for a months and it still works good. Makes the colors of games really pop up. A lot of settings to customize and bring the game graphics up a notch compared to some TVs. For 150-200 dollars its worth to me than buying a 300-700 dollars tv.

I have had this now for a few months and I can say that I still love it. It’s a great “everything” monitor. It’s not the greatest of gaming monitors if you are trying to go pro, but if you watch shows and movies or do school work on it as well then this is for you. On top of all of it, the speakers on this thing need to be heard in person to believe them. Insane! These are better than most tv stock speakers. No regerts...not one letter.

When buying monitors I usually look for the most barebone features beyond the essential specs, all the swivel this and speaker that loses me. So when I saw this monitor had a remote, speakers, pictures modes, etc. I hardly cared. I was sold more on the HDR than anything. Now after months of owning this (almost a year now) I actually find myself using the remote and different settings All The Time. I will lay in bed with a movie or youtube on and adjust the volume accordingly. I will flick through Low Blue-light modes, or the sepia and paper tone modes for reading. These modes are not just color schemes and overlays, they actually change the levels of colors the monitor directly displays and filters out the undesirable colors for the given usage. The remote makes it all so easy to navigate and a fresh break from the painful world of horrible monitor controls. That being said, the On-Monitor controls are actually really simple and friendly too. Also I never thought I would say this in my life, but the built-in speakers are actually pretty nice.

The monitor has everything good that you desire from a quality screen except the poor HDRi. The feature itself isnt too bad but the automatic adjustments are very noticeable in some environments. I suggest you stick to Display HDR if you enable HDR at all.

First thing I noticed was the beautiful picture quality, and with the tweaking of some settings on the monitor itself, I had never actually seen a monitor this pretty before. After I had gone into Nvidia Control Panel and switched it from 60 to 144hz I was DUMBFOUNDED, I was completely enthralled from first glance how smooth it was, even just clicking and dragging around the NCP screen I was shocked. After loading up Rocket League and later Valorant, it was like I was playing a whole new game, with a whole new confidence. I have to admit, I was legitimately a better player switching from 60 to 144hz.

I bought this monitor for my desktop and so far I am very impressed. I do some gaming mainly rpgs and strategy this monitor excells at being one of the best all around monitors in terms of watching videos, productivity, and gaming that I have used in a long while. I am a computer professional who has used dozens of different brand monitors over the years and this one ranks near the top of my favorites. The only downsides I can mention would be hard to get to connections and if you are into flashy design you are going to be disappointed. The only people who shouldnt look to buy this monitor is hard-core gamers (5 ms) who want as near or under 1 ms response time.
