BERN, Kids Nina Helmet with Flip Visor

LOVE this helmet. My kid is on the spectrum, everything bothers her (itches, rubs, too tight). This helmet has been a hit all summer. Its not too hot yet padded nicely. The visor is just enough to keep sun out of her eyes. Everyone tells us how much they like it. She can buckle and unbuckle it herself at 5 years old. Its easy to adjust and we have plenty of room for growth. We already have a ski helmet but I think we can buy a winter liner for this one if need be. Stoked on a quality kids product.

First edit: after complaint to the seller about the helmet internal issues, they are very happy to send a replacement. The replacement internal shell are much better and looks smooth and great quality. Overall the customer service and product quality is trustworthy to me and I will buy the next size from Bern as well. Original review: Nice looking, but hook-and-loop quick adjust doesnt fit smaller head tight and its kind of wiggle around. The internal shell is kind of rough, it looks like some factory second products....But its nice looking, which is kind of important anyway.

I ordered several helmets and this was the only one I was able to adjust properly and feel comfortable having my daughter wear while she’s in her bike carrier or on her tricycle! She’s 18m old and her head cir. Is 50cm for reference.

Fits my kid perfect, but was a little heavy on her at first. She got used to it and wears it well.

Love this helmet for my toddler! She had a really cheap off-brand helmet that kept sliding back on her head. This one stays put, has nice thick padding, and is much more comfortable according to my daughter. It’s easy to adjust the size with the white Velcro strap at the back (shown in one of my photos here). The middle padding in the helmet Velcros in while the padding around the edges snaps on (also pictured). The chin snaps also snap in. Super cute and it says in place, protecting my kid’s head well.
