Bernat Blanket Bright Yarn, Pixie Pink

I love the color of this yarn but it is way over priced. I would definitely order more if it were reasonably priced.

This product is one of the softest yarns I have felt in the Bernat lot. I am making my daughter an afghan out of this yarn and its very soft, easy to use, wrapped nicely and comes out of the yarn ball very easy. Great value and price. It arrived on time and before the date that was projected!

My best friend was having a baby and I wanted to make him a baby blanket. I saw this yarn and fell in love with it. It is very soft. It’s great for blankets, hats, scarves, purses, bags, slippers, and many other things. The baby loves to feel the yarn and look at all the colors. It’s also very warm so it will keep the baby warm in the winter months. The yarn came in a plastic bag to keep it clean. Anyone that loves to knit or crochet would love this. My only complaint is when I look at it online the color looks like a softer color than the vibrant color it is. It is still a great color and very soft and easy to use yarn. These don’t have to be just for babies. Everyone in my family from 2-81 loves this yarn because of how soft it is. I hope the review helped to answer any questions you may have. I truly do love this yarn it is all I use! While I have noticed that each ball has a slight variation but this one really is obvious and it makes me so sad! I’m going to order another and try to redo and match up before I move forward. Slightly disappointed with this one.

I have bought this brand before and this color but from a different manufacturer. When I bought it from the local art store it felt more full, thicker and softer. Purchasing this exact same brand and color is a bit thinner and stringier, not as plush.

Best yarn for Blankets. easy to work with and I would suggest for beginners through expert knitters. I do not crochet so that I am not sure as to how this yarn would work, but is does move very easily over knitting needles. I have made over 25 blankets as gifts and this yarn holds up through , kids, spills and numerous washings. I would also suggest to not use fabric softener , to keep the softness of the yarn.

First off in order to make a baby blanket I used one and a half full sized balls of yarn. I know that is a question many of you have but is not often answered on here. I made this yarn as baby blanket for my friends baby shower and it was a huge success everyone wanted to touch it and hold it and snuggle it. The yarn is beautiful. Its very soft. Thick and does seem like it will hold up well and be easy to wash ( super delicate) or spot clean which is good for babies and kids. The only real fault with the yarn was that there were places were the yarn had broken and been knotted back together which did create little bumps - didnt seem like it would rip or was in danger of coming undone but it just didnt always look so pretty. I do also highly recommended a simple pattern very complex lacy patterns dont really show up in the yarn but seed stitch or a hybrid of knit stitch and a few rows of a yarn over based lace pattern do look beautiful and make it all the more fun for kids to snuggle.

I’m so happy because all of my local craft/yarn stores near me stop selling this exact yarn, which left me with an unfinished blanket. I expected it to arrive a bit messy due to transport… but surprisingly it arrived in pristine condition.
