Greater than one weekGood product, but I recommend you sand down the 4x6 beam before trying to knock them on. This took me a couple hours to get them where I wanted.

> 3 dayThese brackets are rock solid and so easy to install that anyone could build their own swing set. The one thing that I wasnt prepared for was how outrageously expensive lumber was for this swing set, making this project more expensive that I had planned on. These brackets will require four 8 4x4 posts, which will run about $20 per post for pressure treated lumber. It will also require one 4x6 beam, ranging from 8 - 12. The lumber yard only had a 12 post so that was another $60. Adding up th cost of the brackets and lumber made the swing set frame over $200, and that was before adding the swings! As long as youre not sticker shocked by the lumber prices, you should be pleased with the end result. These brackets and associated hardware allow for an easy swing set assembly.

14-04-2025Used a cordless drill and an electric impact for the lag screws to put this together pretty quickly (about 45 minutes). I was able to assemble with all 10 ft lumber by myself but needed someone to help raise it to standing position. *** GO BUY YOUR LUMBER and check the measurements at each end yourself!!! these are rough-cut lumber, and I found that more than half the boards at the local Home Depot would have required a lot of planing to get them to fit. Even having measured all mine (and moving a LOT of lumber to do so), I still had to use a mallet to get one of the legs in all the way. Been up for about 4 months and it gets daily use, weather permitting. I swing alongside my 2yo boy and I’m pushing 280.. this is as solid as you’ll find...

> 3 dayI used stainless steel lag bolts and washers, I primed and painted all attaching hardware, to reduce the rust factor. My wife helped me install the supports, and it went great, we installed one on both ends first, then stood up the swing set, and installed the other support. All support beam, and legs were a good fit, a little wiggle room, which you need to set all legs, and support. I painted all legs and beams to match the support brackets. It all looks great, and I will have many years use for my porch swing, good job!
