> 3 dayI like these. They are smooth to pull and the retract isn’t so strong that it tries to yank it back in a hurry.

> 3 dayI know what youre thinking...its a tape measure, how clever can it be, right? Well, this 2-pack of tape measures from Black and Decker makes a small but significant modification to your traditional tape measure.

> 3 dayThis beyond by Black+Decker tape measure is very well-made and easy to use. The housing is quality and I’m certain it would be durable to sustain being handled and dropped. It locks in place automatically when you pull it out; and with the grip release feature, you just have to squeeze it to reel the tape measure back in - see video. I’m an architect and have many years’ experience with tape measures; the good and the bad ... so pleased with this one’s superior quality!

16-04-2025Admit it, Black and Decker hasnt been the quality of the past, not since the days of Versa Pak and all the assortment of tools. So what happened? Like many tool companies quality really tanked for a couple decades. I almost didnt select the Black and Decker BEYOND, I thought what gimmick now? No really, I LOVE THESE TAPE MEASURES! I tried out the 12, the 16 and the 25. I am very pleased with all three. They work flawlessly and they feature something I had never seen before - they automatically hold where you set until releasing with the grip trigger. My husband was stunned too, hed never seen that feature either. These only arrived about a week ago, but let me tell you - theyre a game changer for woodworking projects. We both love these - 5 stars all the way around!

> 3 dayFor decades, Ive used a 25 Stanley Powerlock II tape measure. It has a metal case, bright yellow measuring strip, and a convenient locking mechanism. It has never failed to work as desired in all these years. I look at tape measures like scissors and screwdrivers: every room should have one available. So I have a few other brands and types of tape measures, but the Stanley is the one I keep coming back to as my favorite, and I see that the model is still readily available today.

> 3 dayWhile you can find cheaper measuring tape sets, you will not find any that are more dependable or easy to use.
