Greater than one weekMy son has been potty trained for over a year and still wears these. They are comfortable, of quality, soft and not thin. They are also machine washable and I dry them on low heat. They clean well should a child streak their underwear. The only advice is if a child does streak, you need to wash it by hand using any type of soap, even handsoap works until clean, then toss in the washer. Dry on low heat, if you air dry, it will be a bit rough.
