I am at the beginning stages of potty training my toddler. I got these to help him feel the wetness without making a big mess on my floor. So far so good. The key is to make sure the fit well. Kind like a swim or cloth diaper fits. They should be snug around the legs but not too tight that they leave marks. If they are too loose they will allow pee to run down the leg. The colors are great and inviting for a child and the stitching seems strong and should hold up to his rambunctious nature. Just make sure you read the care instructions fully and you should have no problem with them lasting.

This is great for a potty training toddler. I would use them as a just in case instead of pull-ups (which are still diapers).

These are perfect for potty training. They are just absorbant enough that it bothers our son to be wet but he doesnt pee all over the floor.

I was so excited to get these in and to try them out on my little one. So disappointed. In 1 hour, he went through 3 pairs of the underwear and soaked through this pants.

Exactly as expected their cloth underwear, just like the old school cloth training pants. They are very absorbent but are not waterproof/ do not have a water proof liner inside…. And order a size up! They run small and will shrink in the wash. Our toddler typically wears a size 4 in the waste for elastic shorts ( he’s tall and skinny). I read a couple other reviews that suggested I size up, so I did and was shocked at how large they were when I received them… so I washed them in hot water a dried, they shrank to the perfect size !

These are perfect options for potty training. When we started it using after reusable diapers. It gave us easier way to remove panties quickly to avoid accidents . And made my boy feel that he is big boy now and doesn’t wear diapers anymore. These are nice , thick , soft cotton panties with padded lining inside to avoid small incidents. They are comfortable. Have nice and different designs. Washing in machine is easy and good. Perfect replacement option for pull up diapers. Lets make less wastage for earth. Totally recommend it.

My 2y/o is just under 3ft tall and 32pounds. He has a big butt and big thighs. These are great for him. They absorb pretty well especially when used with the plastic liners. Obviously still need to change an outfit for a full bladder release but usually don’t need to wash the car seat if he has accident in the car.

The softness and how it’s design to protect leaking!

We’ve used Big Elephant training underwear while doing elimination communication with our son and are continuing to use them now that he’s nearly completed potty training. They’re perfect for catching the start of pee accidents and keeping puddles off of the floor. The peace of mind in public with an inconsistent toddler is great. We also love the patterns available. A few things to keep in mind. - Be sure to follow the size chart, don’t order by child’s age. - Wash in warm water and hang dry. Be sure to wash 2-3 times before use or they will not be absorbent due to the natural oils in cotton that repel liquids; these must be washed out before use. Do not put them in the dryer, that will damage the waterproof layer and make them not waterproof. If they’re too big around the child’s legs, liquid may escape and roll down their legs. The leg holes should be a little tight but not leave marks. - These won’t hold a full bladder worth of pee, especially if your child holds it for an hour+ before peeing. They will contain the start of a pee accident. They’re not a direct replacement for pull-ups and these must be changed every time they get wet. If left on too long when wet they will wick onto clothes and get them wet too. All that said, they are perfect for helping children learn what it’s like to be wet (it’s uncomfortable!) and this helps them want to stay dry. I love Oh Crap potty training, but if you find that your child just doesn’t mind going wherever, try a set of these to give them a reason to want to stay dry or try commando (pants, no underwear). Overall recommend for EC, finishing up potty training, or home use while in the early stages of potty training. I hope this review was helpful ☺️

These work amazing but size up one size! The 2t are a little too tight when my son was just going into 2t!
