I was really hestitant on buying this suitcase especially since it was used but it has everything I was looking for and wanted, except the orange color which I was willing to overlook as long as I was pleased with everything else. I had read a few negative reviews about the wheels and size not fitting in overhead compartments or not even being allowed on the planes as carryons. Well, I have to say at first I thought I was going to be disappointed when I first opened the box and saw how much smaller I thought this looked than I had expected even though I repeatedly checked the measurements before placing my order (I was worried about not being able to take it as a carry on) but I needed something quick for a trip I was about to take and I wasnt checking any luggage. When I finished packing my things I couldnt believe how much room I still had. I love all of the interior pockets and used them all. Since it was used from a previous owner who returned it there were a couple of small dings in it but otherwise they werent noticable and the suitcase looked new and was wrapped very well like it was new. Some previous reviews commented on theirs having a smell. Mine did not have any smell at all. It was very clean, no stains or tears. Everything worked great and as they should. I did not have any trouble at all at the airport, security or getting my suitcase in the overhead. It is very light weight even when packed. Wheels and all fit perfect. I did not have any problems at all with the wheels like some of the other reviewers stated they did. I flew on American Airlines then on Delta coming home and both with connecting flights from large planes to smaller ones (smaller planes everyone has to have curb check on most carry ons larger than a back pack so this would have been to no exception anyway). If you dont mind the orange I would highly recommend this carry on. I would much prefer another color but I would definitly order another one if needed.

A decent product at a decent price.

I did a lot of research on carry on bags before purchasing this one. Everything is great on this one! Here are the features that i like:

I really like how sturdy the bag is made and its a pretty shade of red. I wish it would have been true to size. Unfortunately Im returning the bag because there have been multiple iterations of the Birmingham and the one I received through the warehouse was not like the one pictured. The one I received had large bulky handles on the top and side which added about 2 inches to the height and width. Additionally the depth is about 12 inches when empty due to the nice roomy pockets on the front which are bigger than the pockets on the one shown. But those added inches put the bag at 62 inches preventing you from using the expansion on a plane unless you want to pay for an oversized bag.

Good product. Not too light but acceptable. I would recommend it to a friend

It is smaller than it appears. I dont Live in USA to try to return it ASAP and get another one. I had, Overseas, to buy another brand . I expent a lot buying the correct carry on and keep it the other one. The quiality looks very well and a good handle.

I’ve been searching for the perfect carry-on and I think I’ve found it. This is a great sized bag with a rugged exterior, good capacity, strong wheels and sturdy (so far) telescoping handle. Front zippered pockets are convenient even the smaller one that has caused negative comments from other buyers. I find I can stick my wallet or passport in there for the bag’s quick trip through the x-ray machine. So far this bag has fit in the overhead compartments of 737, 757, and 777 aircraft. Also like the attractive orange trim. Overall a great buy.

This is a fantastic carry-on for the price point. Ive owned others of similar price and quality such as the Revo Spin 2. This has well thought-out features and build. Tough nylon, nice zippers. The feet are slightly elongated to make the bag lean at a slight angle. This allows you to use the expansion and stuff your bag full without it tipping over.The handle has a little play to it, but again, this seems to be par for this price point. As long as you dont yank, twist, or lift violently, it will be fine. If you are only going to bring this on board a plane and stow it overhead then you this will work perfectly. Checking this luggage (which I dont plan on doing) could subject it to damage that it might not be able to withstand. The handle might take a beating, even in the collapsed position, that it couldnt survive. The wheels are somewhere between soft rubber and hard plastic. They roll smooth and arent too noisy. Definitely better than many spinner wheels which are hard plastic and loud. They could have done a little better with these. But they are stable and wont break off.
