BISSELL Revolution HydroSteam Pet Carpet Cleaner, 3432

It’s heavy and fairly cumbersome to clean (I wasn’t able to get the front fully clean, even with the little tool they provide). I’ve only used it on one rug, and I plan to give it a few more chances. As far as first impressions go, I’m not impressed. My little green works just as well or better and was a FRACTION of the price. Obviously, the little green isn’t for big jobs, but neither is this… unless you want your arm to fall off. I’m not super fit but I’m not weak either and this thing is so heavy. I don’t currently see a way to remove the handle in order to return it. I might have to call customer service. Will update review with subsequent uses. Right now, 3 stars feels generous.

Ive always liked Bissell products and the companys support of animals. I needed a carpet cleaner, so when I saw the commercial for this one and found it here on Amazon, I jumped at the chance to get it. Our beloved Jack Russell passed away a couple years ago and were now adopting a new dog from a family member who cannot keep theirs and she arrives in a few weeks. Weve been redecorating and/or renovating rooms and I decided to do a REAL Spring cleaning as well. Obviously that had to include cleaning the rugs and carpets. When I moved the nightstand next to the bed, I found 8-yr. old coffee stains. I remember exactly when the man spilled the coffee, trusted that he cleaned it all up and forbade any future libations in the bedroom. As pictured, you can see that he didnt clean it all but, you can see in the other photo that THIS BISSELL REVOLUTION HYDROSTEAM DID!!! AND, I couldnt even use the steam function because I couldnt properly fit and run the floor unit between the bed and wall. Its a non-movable, king-size bed on a platform with drawers, so I crossed my fingers, then used the hose attachment to clean this part of the carpet. The cleaning solution is amazing! Im convinced that this unit can handle any dirt or stains thrown at it by 4- and 2-legged animals. I used all 3 settings and was happy each time. The quick-dry setting worked well on area rugs over the hardwood floors. So all rugs and carpets are clean and fresh. The solution has a fresh scent that nicely permeated the rooms, but not overwhelmingly so and it quickly dissipated. My hubby and I are both sensitive to fragrance and had no problems. Its a process to disassemble and clean this unit but hey, same with my vacuum cleaner. It was an easy process and, as instructed, I left the tanks and other parts out to air dry in the utility/laundry room before reassembling. The only thing that took a couple of days to fully dry was the hose, even though I hung it with both ends down and shook it out each day. It is a waffled hose, so thats kinda-to-be expected. A storage bag is provided and hangs easily. Everything fits easily in the guestroom closet. Great product!

The BISSELL Revolution HydroSteam Pet Carpet Cleaner is much easier to operate than old school carpet and upholstery cleaners. It only took 3 steps to put together and it was ready to use. Admittedly my living room rug had not been cleaned properly in over 4 years but the water coming out was black which is a win in cleaning. This Bissell also has upholstery cleaners that Im excited to try as my living room chairs are about a year old and will need cleaning soon. Excellent stream and deep cleaner.

I got this mainly to steam clean some large area rugs that I have. I was thinking about having them professionally cleaned, but now I can do it myself. This doesnt work on silk or delicate rugs, and the instruction manual says to check the manufacturers tag and testing for colorfastness before cleaning. What I found disappointing was that the hose and tool dont use steam, because I would also have liked to steam clean my couch and upholstered chairs. I want sure whether or not I could also use it on my tile floors, but after researching that, it seems like a bad idea. I probably should have considered a multi-surface model, but I do like the Hydrosteam feature and that cleaner can be used.

Important things to note: • Handheld attachments cant use steam • Wont make old carpets look brand new • Uses tap water to fill • Great at removing allergens • Handling and assembly is easy • Top comes off the dirty water tank making it easy to clean The handheld attachments can be used to vacuum up wet and dry messes. Steam does not flow through the hose. The long hose attachment would be great for carpeted stairs. It definitely can help lighten old stains on carpet, just dont expect perfection if its a really old stain. I used it on a 4+ year old soda stain and it definitely helped lighten it up and made it way less noticeable. The steam pre-treat was exceptionally helpful in removing/lightening stained areas. There was an area in front of my entertainment center where my dog had peed multiple times. I used the quick dry mode in this area. It made a noticeable difference. The carpet dried quickly. For the rest of the carpet, it does very well to help remove allergens and to really get a deep clean into the carpet. Great item for anyone that suffers from allergies and/or has pets that tend to leave messes behind.

This is the first time I purchased one of these big company flagship machines. I prided myself on keeping my carpets clean weekly until I bought this machine. You see, Ive always purchased the budget machines and they would last me about a year or two with heavy use. When my last one broke I bought this steam machine. AND MY GOSH, two passes and the dirty water tank was still dark. I am very happy with this purchase!

I was excited to use on my almost new carpet that had something spilled on it. The spot came out, but the machine matted my carpet. The steam feature is also pretty lame.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! I purchased this carpet shampooer thinking the steam function would help deep clean my carpets. Boy was i wrong! It left my carpets soaking wet and they took multiple hours to dry. Only purchase if you enjoy walking all over wet carpets for half the day!

I absolutely love this BISSELL Revolution carpet cleaner. Simple to assemble right out of the box. First used this on the bedroom rugs and impressed with how well this carpet cleaner did and how much dirt was pulled from the carpet. I definitely needed a pet carpet cleaner as I have three dogs and mistakes happen on the carpets. The carpet smells so fresh now. Used the cleaner also on living room sofa and chair and worked great on them also. Long cord is definitely a bonus for me. So simple to use and a fantastic cleaning machine.

Needed a shampooer for my house carpets and car seats and carpets! Tried multiple different ones none had suction this one seemed so majic for me!! Definitely worth its money I don’t have to pay for a detailer to clean my seats and carpets!!
