Black Touch Screen Replacement for iPad 5 2017 9.7 inch, A1822 A1823 Digitizer Replacement with Home Button + Pre-Installed Adhesive + Tool Kits

It was a huge pain in the ass getting the broken screen off because it came off in shards, but I can’t hold that against the new screen. It works perfectly EXCEPT the home button moves around a little. If I had to do it again I’d add a little extra adhesive to the back of it.

Screen kept coming up due to poor adhesion and when I tried to secure it down, the screen cracked easily (I was not using a lot of pressure). Do not recommend.

This item has the whole package. You can basically indiscriminately remove the touchscreen and install this all-in-one replacement. It’s worth noting that with this replacement, you will not have the functionality of the fingerprint sensor. It’s a tall task to disassemble one of these iPads without damaging the old sensor ribbon anyway, so this saves the gluing step from the process.

First time ever replacing any type of screen on a device and it was easy. Made the iPad look like new. The only down fall is that the touch ID on the iPad did not work. Pressing the home button works fine.

Had to watch youtube videos on how to install this properly since there were no instructions with the packet, and the video on the product page is not accurate and missing critical steps. It looked good after the install but this only lasted two days, screen cracked on the third day with light use. I do not recommend this product

There was no instructions and the video wasTERRIBLE. I found other videos Which helped. One piece was never shown so now the home button doesn’t work.

The packaging was well organized and everything arrived in great shape. The installation was straightforward (Ive never tried this before but found some helpful videos) and as far as I can tell the iPad works perfectly. Glad I went with this product!

After changing the screen the home button did not work. I had to take off the screen and in the process it cracked. Now I have a cracked screen again.

i gave it a 3 for easy to install cause there is no easy install in doing this. can anyone do it yes if you have the time to.
