Although this Black & Decker heater looks thin and small, this is one case where we can not and should not judge a book by its cover. On the low heat setting, it keeps our 15x15 bedroom nice and warm. As I write this, the usa is in the middle of the worst cold weather weve had in decades. It got low as -37 below zero (Fahrenheit) here in Southern Indiana and this little heater kept us so warm we had to turn it down! It was on high heat and a little under half way to max. To me, this was hands down the best test this heater will ever go through. So if you live in a cold State like S. Dakota where winters can get to -50 sometimes, this heater will absolutely keep you super toasty. Theres a safety button on the bottom of the heater so if it gets bumped over, it instantly disconnects and ceases heat output.

Our AC and heating system stopped working mid December. It took us weeks to shop around and find a good company to replace the system, we bought three of these and these tiny things kept the whole house warm until new system was installed.

Great purchase! Perfect for my under my desk at work where my colleagues like to blast the AC. This personal space heater works perfect to keep me warm. The first setting puts out a great amount of heat. I don’t think I need to use the second setting, but it’s there.

The only problem Ive had with this is that obnoxious chemical odor from the manufacturing process that needs to be burnt off (smells like mixture of burnt plastic and magic smoke from a PCB fire). After youve used this for a week or two though it goes away. My bedroom is about 300 square feet, this makes the room steaming hot quickly. It blows the air forward and a little up for those who plan to keep this on the floor this is good for that. I keep it near my feet since extremities are colder than the core of your body, also heat rises so the coldest parts of my room are usually the floors. It has an internal thermostat that will automatically switch the unit on/off to maintain the temperture you set. Turn the unit on, crank the temperature dial to maximum and let it do its thing, once the room gets warm enough to your liking, lower the temperature dial slowly until the unit switches off, youve now found the ambient temperature you want to be at. At this point if it gets much colder than this, the thermostat will switch the unit on again automatically, which warms the room back up, once it reaches that ambient temperature again it will switch the unit off again automatically, simple!

Went from a slightly smelly oil-based heater to this one. This is powerful & clean, no scent at all, nice and warm. But not gonna lie, its kind of loud. I work alone without any machinery, and it puts out a fair amount of sound.

Warmed up the room very well.

Good price and not a lot of features that never get used. Basic features including safety shut off if it falls over. Has a fan and simple controls for High and Low.

I got it to use during the cold nights at a camping trip. Adjust the temp and youre good to go. It has a little button on the bottom that allows the heater to work, only when its pushed in. So if it falls over it shuts off. I love it. I even tried it in my living room to see how it would do and it warmed up surprisingly fast. Perfect for an office, rv, tent or bedroom.
