I have one of these and one of the split buss panels installed in my truck as auxiliary sub panels, and I couldnt be happier with them. They are very well made like every Blue Sea product Ive ever bought, and I have quite a few between the boat and the truck. They use nickel plated copper for all electrical conductors, and the plastic is strong and very impact resistant. The cover looks a little different from the picture - its actually a perfectly clear plastic. Im not AvE, but Im guessing its polycarbonate based on its stiffness and incredible toughness. This would naturally be right at home on a boat, but if youre looking for something for an automotive or RV application and are sick of the poor design and cheap construction of automotive grade electrical parts, check out Blue Sea Systems. The stuff is very reasonable in price for the level of quality they deliver - you cant go wrong.

Strong and durable. I mounted it in my truck and it works great even with all the vibration and heat.

This was exactly what I needed but could not find anywhere for a project in my small camper trailer. Very nice.

This is very easy to set up as they include a diagram and wire size recommendation.

Excellent electrical center in two locations on our boat. Very pleased. Only improvement I would suggest are prelabled stickers for the usual items on board.

Fuse block arrived as advertised. Mounted to the inside of my boats battery-reservoir along with a disconnect switch e9003. Ran a direct neg. connection from battery to neg. bank on fuse block. This provides negative connections for all corresponding positive loads. Ran positive connection from Disconnect switch so I can kill the entire block. Plastic base is dense-durable and has four holes for mounting. Plastic face snaps in to cover. Doesnt make a water-tight seal, but locks/snaps in place securely. Labels are too tiny to really be of any use. Cleaned up the labyrinth of main and accessory wiring found in most boat-battery reservoirs. Ultimately freed up enough room to add a little tool box next to the battery. Also, makes it much easier to access/replace bilge, aerator pumps.
