Wha needs to be said about this classic? The music is great and Jake and Elwood are truly funny.

uno dei più bei film musicali mai prodotti, cast stellare e, purtroppo, inimitabile altri remake non reggono il confronto, peccato per le parti in lingua originale non doppiate.

Where do I start? Ill start where I do. I saw the sequel, Blues Brothers 2000 a long while back. Yeah, the music our parents grew up on called attention to itself, but when I finally saw this--the first and original work, I gained every reason to pity my own tuneless, techno-groove-obsessed generation. Bring in the genius of the late great Ray Charles, the musically whimsical wit of the late great Cab Calloway, the soul for getting down of James Brown. Add the unhesitant, respect-driven spirit of Aretha Franklin, ,and the wizardry-like musicianship of the Blues Brothers Band. Finally, let the dynamic duo of Joliet Jake and Elwood Blues do the rest! R.I.P to Joliet Jake...and his real-life counterpart, John Belushi by the way.

昔から大好きな映画なので、発売を知った日に予約し心待ちにしていました。

I highly recommend this movie. The Blues Brothers cause all kinds of mayhem trying to save an orphanage from being shut down. A nun shows her appreciation of their concern by beating them mercilessly with a ruler. They manage to upset all kinds of other people along the way, most notably a country band they impersonate to land a gig. Then they have to worry about a mysterious and insane woman played by Carrie Fisher of Star Wars fame who keeps trying to blow them up, gun them down, or do anything else she can to kill them.
