silly, funny and something made for a popcorn night in.

Just watched part of film but it got stuck 15 mins in and the screen was frozen so not tried it again yet but I expect you get what you pay for

Extended version sucks the life out of the movie.

Great movie. Only 2 downers : Whilst the extended version was mostly brill, the added footage at the end made the movie tepid overall (As such, the special version rates a B- for me..). There also shoulda been the original clips from NBCs Saturday Night Live with the 1st appearance of Jake & Elwood! The original movie will ALWAYS be an A++

This is a great movie not as great as Animal House but it is definitley a classic. Mission from God.

A Classic

Der Film ist etwas ganz besonderes. Mehr als nur das übliche 08/15 Hollywood-Kino, nämlich die Geschichte der legendären Blues Brothers Jake & Elwood Blues. Sie versuchen um 5000 Dollar für das Waisenhaus aufzubringen, die Band von damals wiederzuvereinen und einen Gig zu finden. Dabei machen sie sich einige Feinde und verstricken sich in einige lustige Aktionen.

So clever and funny! I loved the film when it first came out! The comedy, the music, the amusing storyline and of course the brilliant acting all make this a film to treasure.

The movie is fantastic which I knew before I bought it. What impressed me most was the quality of picture in the bluray considering how old this movie is.
