This pet heating pad is plush and has a few bonus features. The settings include a timer and a feature that allows it to stay on all of the time which is harder to find. The plush cover is removable and can be washed. It took a little while for it to warm up but once it does it seems to stay pretty consistent. It doesnt get as warm as a human heating pad or anything - which is probably good since it is intended for pets. The wrapped cord is a safety feature that should be included in all pet mats not just so they are outdoor safe but to prevent electrocution if they were to chew. This is a great mat.

This is a nice heating pad. I like that they did think through the design and made the cord covered with a metal shroud to protect it from chewing.

This is an effective way to keep your dogs or cats warm and comfortable on a cold day, but more importantly it helps with arthritis or sore joints and is designed (prevent chewing) with rugged controls.and wire coverings. The timer and temperature controls make it easy to set it and go.

My oldest kitty loves having a heating pad of his own. Doesnt get uncomfortably hot. Nice sized. Easy to clean. Reasonable length cord.

Received in the mail quickly and put it in her enormous doghouse. ( I built for her ) We wrapped the mat around a blanket a few times and layed it in her doghouse. Out temperatures during the winter usually get just below freezing. The dogs water dish bowl often freezes over. We have an Australian Shepard with a thick fur coat and she can handle cold temperatures but freezing isnt a temperature we wanted to risk with her. This pad has kept her warm during those cold nights and she seems to be very happy with it. The pad has a timer on it for 8, 12 & 24 hours. This helps us to save on our electric bill. I would recommend this product.

This heating pad is a life saver. I had to leave my dog in the garage while I was gone. I had to bug bomb my house in the middle of winter. The wire is protected inside a conduit which feels like a flexible metal tubing wrapped with rubber of sorts. They claim chew proof though my dog is trained and would never chew on it. The best part of this was the thin control pad that fit through hole of my large dogs crate. I left him with food, treat, water and some toys. We tuned the heater on in the garage and crank this this pad to 3 and left for about an hour to hour half. My came back home and my dog was happy. He wasnt cold and freezing. I took the dog out and put my hand on the pad to feel the heat it seemed to be centralized in a particular area. Im not sure if the pad knows where the dog lies or if it is just in the area but it works well. My dog definitely liked it.

We occasionally need to leave our dog out garage we’re not gonna be home for a while (she has access to the outside). When I plug this in I almost always find her and the cat on it when we get home. We place it on the bed such that out pets can decide whether they want to lay on it completely, halfway, or not at all. Works perfectly and was exactly as described. Seller shipped very quickly!

My little senior chihuahua absolutely ADORES this heating pad! I put it in her donut bed under her blanket so she stays warm and toasty during the winter. I feel good about letting her sleep on it because it doesn’t get too hot like a human heating pad so she can’t burn her tummy. My girl doesn’t chew, but it does have a chew-proof cord so my puppy can’t chew it up! The cover comes off so it’s easy to clean too.

Warms fast and easy to use

I had a feral cat I was taking care of and this mat was great! The coil wrapped around the cord definitely kept him from chewing. It had a nice cushion inside and warmed up just enough. It wont make animals too warm, but will absolutely help when temperatures drop. I was really glad I had this for my feral. It held up for the whole time I used it (until I found my feral a barn, to be better cared for), so it seems like it will be durable. Id recommend this for sure.
