It didn’t last very long at all. It wasn’t chewed at all, the hook snapped whilst my rat was sitting on it! After thinking it might be a fluke, the same thing happened with the second one. No chew marks, only very very sensitive snapped metal. It’s a waste of money given it only lasted with gentle use for 1 week and 2 weeks respectively. It’s also very hard to clean if they “go” inside of it. Even in a washer, the poops remain stuck. Another thing! Please do NOT get these for your Guinea Pigs! Their backs can NOT HANDLE A HAMMOCK! Especially one like this! I have piggies as well and it broke my heart that these are being advertised for them. You’re better off making your own hammocks if you can sew, or buying them from another site. Maybe support a small business that makes them specifically for your animal!

Both my guinea pigs loved this hammock. The quality is great its super soft and warm. It came bigger than i expected it to be which is a good thing.

My rats absolutely love the hammock and I can usually find one in the hammock every day taking a nap! They’re also very soft and cute!

I was worried my Guinea pigs wouldn’t like to get into something that’s slightly off the ground of their cage, but they loved it! They were climbing into it instantly and popcorning while lying inside of it. Absolutely worth the purchase! They’re also quite easy to clean, not difficult at all. Just shake them out and throw them in the washer, it’s as simple as that.

Minnie is a rat. She chews everything- but not her hammock. She keeps it clean she won’t even bring food in there. It cuddles her.

Definitely worth the money. My rats love them and they’ve held up well.
