I’ve always loved this game and I love the newer style. Much easier to pack and not spill or lose pieces.

Great game for reading centers

Gift for my college age daughter- she loves it! A fun, quick 2 minute word game- 2-4 players

In many ways, this is the classic Boggle game, but there are downsides. First, the enclosure for the word cubes has a lid that is extremely difficult to remove. That might be good for travel (you wont be likely to lose the pieces), but for playing a series of games, its a royal pain to remove the lid after shaking. Second, when the cubes are shaken up for a new game, they dont settle naturally into their resting places; some are often left positioned at angles, displaying two letters at once. Its a nuisance to keep shaking the box in an effort to get them to settle properly. Those caveats aside, its a decent product.

This is more of a travel size game

For Boggle players or word game people, this game is excellent for learning new words and quick vocabulary teaching. Its fun and multiple people can play at once. Great for students, keep a dictionary, thesaurus nearby and watch your childs vocab increase. My 12-year-old daughter loves it as much as I do.

Cool game

It’s Boggle. Letter cubes, case and timer. You BYO paper and pencil. My family including 8 yo grand played Christmas Eve and had “wild card” game on way to Semi finals and finals. As to the opening of the lid we are not a unintelligent family and did not figure it out until I read the reviews they should’ve put this little instruction Open while pushing in the sides. And make it easy enough for arthritic hands. Timer on top a nice gesture. Actually once you get top of it seats in a way you can shake and set cubes without snapping shut. The game.
