I use double ended snap hooks around the farm for many, many things. A couple years ago I had ordered these and just scrolled through purchased items and ordered again but the ones that came this time are definitely not the same. These are smaller, lighter, not nearly as heavy duty as the ones before, which are still in use around the place holding everything from water buckets to temporary fence panels and gates. At first, none of these new ones even wanted to open and needed to be worked until I can slide them open easily. The inner springs all seem very weak. Will now only purchase from hands on, brick and mortar local stores. Price was good and delivery was swift but for the miscellaneous, around the farm uses I need them for- they are just too light and problematic

Works great for anything you would want to use them for, not sure how much tensile strength they’d have but work great for around the house.

These do the job, but they feel very rough and sticky when opening the clips. In fact they perform worse than similar clips I have owned for years (and kept outside in the elements). They seem sturdy, and the chrome coating is okay but thats about the best thing I can say for these unpleasant, sticky clips.

I use two of these to hold my dogs water bowl inside the kennel. Works Great!!!

Bronze double end bolt snaps used to be inexpensive, but not now. I use these in my dog kennel to hold water buckets, to snap exercise pens together at dogs shows, etc. They have a way of disappearing, like my socks in the washer, and Amazons snaps are an affordable, and very good replacement. The plating looks good, and I believe will be durable.

These snap hooks are just what I was looking for. I have a couple of rescue Chinchillas and they need to be separated. I have a temp metal dog pen and the snap hooks that come with the pen are too small. The chinchillas can chew the plastic wire wraps off the cage. These metal snap hooks are very sturdy and easy to use with snaps at both ends. They snap easily and I am able to move them with one hand as described. Now I can throw away the plastic wire wraps that are useless. This package comes with 6 of the double ended snaps and it is a great price.

These are heavy duty snaps, that are excellent for joining two other items with D-rings, for use as keyrings, and lots of other uses. They are trigger operated, not the cheaper kind of carabiners which depend on tension to hold them closed. Would buy these agin in a heartbeat.
