This pack of 12 would be a great value for the price IF the tap was actually sticky. I ship a lot of items and I use a lot of packing tape. I thought this would be a good alternative that was a cheaper value for the quantity. Other reviews made me believe this stuff was magical. It’s not. It’s as sticky as dollar store packing tape, which isn’t that great. I’m really disappointed because I’ll need to use twice as much to tape boxes to be sure it holds.

I purchased this tape to box up 16 large card boxes with furniture so I bought a heavy duty tape. I boxed them all up and put the boxes in my garage so I could move them the next day. When I went into my garage all the boxes were open and all the tape had stretched lose. I used a lot of tape on all ten boxes. I went through and reaseled the boxes and used more tape double the amount of tape I would have used if using cheap clear tape the tape still did not hold. I could hear the tape pulling lose. The boxes I used were brand new dry and clean. This is the worst tape I have ever purchased. This tape cost me a lot of extra time and money I had to go buy more tape to seal the boxes.

OMG you can see tape peeling off and am supposed to move. All the boxes taped them several times and hoping boxes dont burst open. Please dont buy these ones.

While this definitely isnt the highest quality packaging tape Ive used its much better than I expected at 12 rolls for $22. The adhesive is good and I would rate this as a solid medium-strength packing tape. Often cheap packing tape tears so easily that it keeps getting stuck on the roll forcing you to try and find the seam where you can start peeling it again. This tape is solid enough to not tear accidentally while pulling it. I wouldnt use this packing tape on the bottom of a heavy moving box or anything along those lines because I dont have confidence that it wont tear under heavy stress but this packing tape is more than good enough for general use boxes and packages. I have my own tape guns but for people who dont you get one of those small plastic ones that are sold with single rolls of shipping or packing tape in a drug store or hardware store. At 12 rolls with a dispenser for a little over $20, this is a good value option as long as you dont need very heavy-duty quality.

I pack and ship large boxes every day. I prefer to use Duck HP260 clear packing tape, but in an attempt to save money, I am trialing some of this brown tape. After using four rolls of it last week, and not getting any reports of packages arriving opened, so far Im very pleased. I also bought a nice TENDO handheld dispenser, with the angled blade, and between the tape and the dispenser, Ive had no problems applying and handling this tape. Much of my taping involves pinching cardboard pieces together around a flat, square-edged product, and then applying tape with as much tension as possible. The break angle of the cardboard over the edge of the item is what immobilizes it in the package. The tape must not just stick, it must be pulled very tight, and *then* stick, and not come loose. So far, so very good! Note: I still use the Duck tape for shipping labels, and more, but over time I could see this brown tape taking over every other function. I really did not expect it to perform so well.

The tape is very adhesive. Doesnt tear on the roll. Really happy with the quality of it. Would definitely purchase again.

This came with an awesome amount of tape. The adhesion is good and the applicator included is great too. This is very useful for standard boxes and I look forward to using it more. Definitely a good option in my opinion.
