Bones Reds Bearings 8 pk w/Spacers & Washers Bundle

I purchased several boxes of these bearings from Amazon. Saved a lot compared to getting them from the skate shop. I have been very happy with this brand and have no complaints. I use them in my roller derby skates and they work great.

You really cant go wrong with Bones Reds, in terms of price, quality and durability. Ive been through so many sets of these. Having skated for nearly 18 years these have (and probably always will) be my go-to bearings. I can still remember putting my first set in some new wheels having come from using Luckys skate bearings (abec 3s) and the difference was an awesome feeling.

I read up on these bearings because theyre not abec rated and I was worried they might suck. The company says they dont list an abec rating because the abec rating system is actually not the best system for skate bearings (you want bearings that can take a beating and still roll smoothly). Their website makes a pretty strong case for why they dont list an abec rating, if you want to take a look. Anyway, it turns out theyre great! I stuck these and some nice gummy wheels on a $50 skateboard and its like I hardly ever have to push.

I had one bearing that was making the weirdest grinding noises and slowing the wheel down. I took the whole bearing apart, cleaned everything, and put it all back together and it got worse immediately afterward. Im not sure what is causing it, but for $17, I would think there wouldnt be such a significant issue on any of them.

Hey man, I got these and tossed em on the axles/trucks/wheels and one of them sounds like a furbie with dying batteries stuck in a running engine. It wont let the wheel spin freely either. So for the price, no it is not a good deal. And I dont want to deal with not having bearings while I wait for replacements. Waisted $$ I got it a little better and it is usable after removing the shield and lubing it. Good until the nicer ones come. I have no idea what is wrong, maybe an out of spec bearing. Still isnt smooth and quiet like the other 7.

Amazing quality bearings extremely fast and long lasting. I have to say these bones bearings are amazing, not just by quality but by the speed that they were shipped. Overall great part of equipment which will make skating a whole lot better

I ordered the product and never received it i know they are good bearing but like come on I expected better and wasted my money for something that never came.
