These are too big around for parakeets, although it states that its a good choice for them. The perches are very well built and sturdy but my parakeets wont sit on them...at all...ever. Theyre just too big for their little feet. I only gave them 3 stars because I feel like the listing is misleading. The perches are great for larger birds.

We bought this because a friend recommended it. It was easy to install and looks sturdy, but our bird avoided it like the plague. We tried repositioning near the food try, and she just did everything possible to eat without touching it. I dont know if it was the bright green colour, but after a month or so, we took it out so as not to antagonise the bird. Since our friend said her bird loved it, I guess birds have their own sentiment and preferences. YMMV Id give it a 5, but the bird gives it the bird.

Pretty groovy. My green cheek loved it immediately and its a two pack so its a now and later deal since he only needs one, with all hes got going on in his cage.

The bird this was intended for likes the product. Have ordered a bigger, heavier piece before that lasted a long time and does have a better attachment to the cage but at time of order, Amazon was out of it. This bird -a yellow nap- gets out of the cage and manages to dislodge the attaching part so we have had to tape it over.

These are great files that will keep your birds nails/claws trimmed down. Much better than the plastic ones which do nothing (even though they are rough on the bottom, its still plastic). These are great - I will be buying more. Make sure you have other perches, as these will bother your bird to be on them all the time because of the roughness.

My conure loves these perches. I thought it would take him a few days to get used to them but he hopped right on them. They have helped so much keeping his nails not so sharp. I am so glad I bought these because trimming his nails was a traumatic experience for the both of us

my sun conures have a habit of destroying normal wooden perches to where they have no perch to stand on they were happy to have their perch again love that it came with two instead of one came very quickly will definitely buy again thank you so much!!

Keeps my birds nail nicely trimmed once I trimmed them up. I do not have to trim his nails as often with this perch. Pretty colors, well made and sturdy.
