Conceptually awesome idea, in reality the 6. And 6.5mm were slightly mixed making working with them much more of a pain than Id originally anticipated

Not all these ball bearings are stainless steel...one size out of all were steel...I did the ole magnet test and all but one size passed...other than that, theyre ball bearings...Im not sure if they will get crushed in a hub but theyll do their basic job.

I rebuild a lot of older bikes and fix kids bikes. Invariably a ball bearing is missing from a headset race or a wheel hub. I can easily match them up with these free bearings and pop them into place. I’ve used these bearings for that purpose at least 5 times in the past few weeks. Going to need another box pretty soon. Good selection of ball bearings at a good price. I hope to replace an occasional ball bearing on used equipment. I have seen rusted ball bearings on some of the equipment so far.

Really nice assortment of ball bearings to have in garage in case you lose one. I use two of these when rebuilding my Audi engine to replace ones that shot out of the cam shaft.
