Got these for mixing paints when I make my own color. These are the ideal size in my opinion.

Need larger ones

I use these for miniature paints along with a vortex mixer. They definitely make a difference when mixing.

Drop a ball in the paint pot/dropper and it helps mix the paint better. Don’t know I went as long as I did without these.
