I really wanted to like this. I have a 2016 Tahoe with Car Play but really wanted to make it wireless. I bought another brand that was really flaky (would turn on and start playing music when you walked by the car, shut off and locked.....) and then I tried this brand. The first one arrived and it was sporadic in terms of being able to make voice commanded out going calls using my iPhone 12. I tried and tried and finally returned it on the 30th day and had them replace it with another unit figuring I just got a bad one.

It took a bit for it to install and give the option on the phone to use CarPlay.But once installed it works well. Make sure to put your devices n order or you may get the wrong one auto connecting. Its nice to just get in the car and go instead of connecting your phone and making sure it gives the CarPlay option. Connection on phone calls is horrible. We had to stop using it because of that. Not recommending this.

when I connect the device there is a delay in the conversation, the other party must wait for me to finish before they can talk. And most of the time I have to repeat what I just said.

after a brief setup, this connected flawlessly. Bear in mind that when it starts up each time there is a little wait for the bluetooth connection to happen, but it has works flawlessly thus far.
