> 3 dayNeeded to buy this when I was rebuilding my motor for my 3000gt. Worked beautifully. Crossed hatched nicely and will buy another when it is time to rebuild the motor in my truck and my motorcycle.

> 3 dayUsed this to freshen up a cylinder on my Jetta TDI. Had one piston melt down and replaced it with a used one. This took most of the scoring out of the cylinder and the car runs again.

> 3 dayThis is the only hone to use on engine cylinders. I am a master mechanic and the reasons are many. The cross hatch pattern this hone makes is the best for breaking the glaze on new rings and seating them in. Brake type hones are good for rubber seals, plungers, etc to steel bores but not for high friction steel to steel applications. Dont be a cheap skate when it comes to your engine - Go with the best parts and practices. Also, dont use Synthetic oil in engines with new rings. Get at least 500 miles on them and then switch to a synthetic (Same Brand) if you want to use it.

> 3 dayIt worked well for my SBC. I thought it should last longer than 1 V8 engine honing. Maybe its not supposed to, I dont know when I was done I noticed the dingle balls were smoothe.

> 3 dayI love this hone! It works great and no fuss. I used it on a 6.5 turbo diesel to remove surface rust and bring it back to running order for a rebuild

> 3 dayWorks well as a hone. Keep in mind they dont have much range so you need the correct size, you cant squeeze this into a smaller cylinder. Youre gonna want your drill on slow speed and pretty aggressively stroke it in and out to get a 45 degree crosshatch.
