Greater than one weekUsing the correct size on the cylinder size has provided a good result. Forced an oversized one once and did not yield an easy result.

> 3 dayWorks great! Not as deep cutting as honing tool with stones. Used this as a starter and finisher. Leaves a great finish! I used this on my 2.5L Subaru

> 3 dayI used this hone on a BMW M20 rebuild out of a mid-80s E30. The hone worked perfectly. I first used the hone with an old 9.6V Makita cordless drill that, sadly, didnt make enough torque to get the job done right. I went out and bought a 6.5 amp Porter Cable 1/2 chuck drill and it cleaned up the cylinders perfectly. Note: if the hone starts to bind a bit, do your best to _not_ stop the drill from spinning. I learned (the hard way) that if the hone stops, and you (in your infinite wisdom, like myself) try to reverse the hone out, the metal braids that hold the hone balls in place will unravel. Youll spend more time than you car too putting the hone back together again (with or without all the kings men). Even though there is still life in the first hone I used, I ordered another one just to have on hand. Thats how much I liked this hone.

> 3 dayThis hone did a nice job on a pair of Harley Twincam cylinders. New rings seated in nicely and had a good seal.
