The only positive thing to say about the Bull Dog razors is that it helped me realize why long-standing companies like Gillette have such high quality products. I don’t have particularly sensitive skin, but regardless of what cream, lotion, after-shave I used, these razors scraped my neck producing bumps and irritations. I finally threw the last razor away because I couldn’t take it anymore. Went back to Mach 3 and no issues whatsoever. You get what you pay for.

I originally found this brand in a drug store. I decided to try it out and was quite impressed with the quality. Hence the need for refills. My coarse hair is just too much for disposable cartridges and although these are great, I decided to switch to a safety razor.

I try to buy premium razors. I read the reviews on this razor and thought that I was buying a really good razor. Unfortunately, I got cut 4 times in my first 2 weeks. Normally if I am going to get nicked (which is very rare)it will be when the razor is old and I have pushed the limits, and then I dispose of the razor...usually after a month or so. Nicks occur about once or twice a year! THIS is NOT a quality razor in spite of all the positive feedback.

My husband and I have never had issues with razors before, but both of us had skin irritation and never quite achieved a close shave with these razors. I like the fact that they are trying to be carbon neutral and less impact to the environment, but the product needs to do what it was designed for--shave hair and not cause breakouts or skin irritations.

I love bulldog and their mission statement. However these were not useful. I still developed razor burn. Still broke out. And before the question “did you even use it correctly “ I swapped to a Gillette skin guard and am having none of the same issues. I still love bulldog skin care!
