> 3 dayThe recovery boards seem thick and the plastic is durable. We have converted the back of our Jeep to a sleeping area and we use these boards to get the Jeep level before we go to bed. They’ve been used to level the Jeep on many occasions with no stresses damage to the plastic.

Greater than one weekThe compact size would be great for my usage in a small vehicle, but the design of these is wrong. Compare the start of these ramps to the big name options out there. These have a flat entry and very short ridges on them (sometimes several, one-in-front-of-the-other). The flat start of the ramp means you have to get the tire up further onto the ramp than a one that has a curve at the beginning (which can grab the tire tread at, say, 5:00, rather than needing to be near 6:00), so you have to dig this further under your tire. The design of the ridges are the final killer of this design. Look closely. These have short ridges to try and grab your tire tread, instead of being taller like ALL of the other designs, theyre wide, so they need a bigger void in the tire tread to get the entire ridge engaged, and then some of them are doubled or tripled up, so your tire is encouraged to need to ride up on them instead of the tread getting grabbed by a sharp, pointy spike. I tried using these to free a sedan stuck in snow. It required so much digging to get the ramp set down under the tire that I could have just pushed the car back onto the pavement Id dug and cleared all the way to.

> 3 dayBunker Ind. makes a nice product - seems well crafted, fits together as designed. The 3 piece kit comes in a handy carry-bag. I have it stored in my F250 tool box for - not if but when the surface wont cooperate. A couple years ago I stuck an F150 just off the highway, but in the desert 50 miles from the nearest town (I was working on power transmission towers). That $500 tip to a local towing agency with a jeep and a strap left a sting. Ill self recue with my new BI Treads. Wish me luck!

> 3 dayIf youre tight on space or just dont want to run around town screaming look at me, Im an overlander! these might be for you. When I opened them up I was immediately impressed with the quality feel, and the sturdiness and heft of the materials. The zippered case is actually pretty decent, too. In usage, I actually used these a couple times on a recent trip to the desert in my Jeep. One thing to note - if you DONT have lockers (either front or rear) you might need two sets of these. In my case I have lockers, so I can get away with using a traction board under a single wheel and still get out. The shortness of these boards somewhat limits their usability, but I was able to chain them together using the center section and climb up out of a sand hole Id gotten stuck in (purposely just to test these out). In addition, I use these to level my camping trailer by driving one tire up onto one or both of the treads. I can then also use the center orange section to set the tongue jack in so that it doesnt sink into sand or soft soil. For my purposes (a Jeep Rubicon pulling a camper trailer) this is an even better and more versatile solution than the full sized maxxtraxx type boards.

> 3 dayWorks great in mud. Just the right size to throw in tool box and just what’s needed to get traction and momentum

> 3 dayFirst time driving in show managed to get one side of my 4Runner stuck in a rut. Worked like a charm in a matter of seconds with each board under a wheel.
