> 3 dayEvery November my hands begin to crack. I found Burts Bees hand salve about eight years ago and have faithfully purchased a tin each fall because it is the only product that I have found that can assuage the discomfort and help my hands heal. The consistency is somewhat greasy but the product spreads easily over hands. The product is absorbed within five minutes of application. I typically apply at night and in the morning. This routine keeps my hands moisturized and soft. I am very sensitive to perfumes. This hand salve has a distinctive scent but one that is very herbal in nature. The smell can fill a room or work office but I dont think the scent rises to the level of being obnoxious. I regularly apply it at work and have had no complaints. Typically, the scent dissipates in twenty minutes. If you are worried about the stares of colleagues, try to apply it after a nighttime shower. A little bit of this product goes a long way and a three ounce tin typically takes me through winter and spring. Overall, a fantastic product that is highly recommended.

> 3 dayGreat for healing hands, preventing thick calluses from building up, and keeping hands from being too dry. It is a little oily, but thats an acceptable tradeoff, given I havent had a hand rip in the 2 years since I started using this stuff. (Ive been doing powerlifting and parkour stuff in the meantime, so my hands have taken a beating) I cant say enough about how well this stuff works, it competes well with expensive climbers salves and such, but for significantly less $/oz. Also, its lightyears better than Okeefes which doesnt seem to do almost anything compared to this.

> 3 dayThe only thing that helps my eczema and dgysodrosis on my hands. Holds up to hard kitchen work and cold weather. A bit oily but worth it for the comfort.

> 3 dayI have always had the worst dry, chapped hands during the winter months. This is the only product that I have found that can prevent that from happening. Has a very unique scent which again cannot really be described using words. The product is practically solid at room temperature. I rub my hands of the surface and heat it up a little and then apply on my the back of my hands so I can control how much does on. I keep a can at home, at the office, and one in my bag. Great proudct !!!

> 3 dayThis is a three pack that I received taped together very well however the top tin is dented in so much, I cannot open it. This item is not eligible to be returned nor do I see where I can contact the seller. Other than that, I love this hand salve very much.

> 3 dayAfter five years of searching for a non-steroid product for my eczema, I finally found the product that would moisturize as well as HEAL cracks, broken skin, and redness. It takes away itching and promotes growth of new healthy skin. First, here is a list of what Ive tried: Aveeno Eczema Therapy, California Baby Eczema Cream, SkinFix - absorbed quickly, no lasting moisture Coconut oil, Essential oils (rose hip oil, tamanu oil, lavender, palmarosa) - greasy, not moisturizing, did not promote healing CeraVe - absorbs well, moisturizes, burns on broken skin, did not promote healing SebaMed, Eucerin Eczema Relief, Dermasil - absorbs well, moisturizes, did not promote healing Aquaphor, Vaseline - extremely greasy, moisturizes, prevents cracks, somewhat helpful for healing Shea Moisture - greasy but moisturizes, did not promote healing, overwhelming strong scent Burts Bees Hand Salve - greasy but eventually absorbs into skin, moisturizes, healing Elidel - prescription non-steroid cream that promotes healing, works great The texture of Burts Bees Hand Salve feels like lip balm, the kind you have to use your finger to apply. You have to rub the product several times to get it to melt onto your finger. Then massage it into your skin. It does take some patience. I have eczema on my hands and legs, so it always takes awhile to apply, maybe 20 minutes. I like to do it while Im watching TV. It feels greasy for the first while and takes a couple of hours to fully absorb. But once it absorbs, the greasiness is gone. I apply the product three to four times a day. Whenever I dont feel the product on anymore, I reapply. Itching goes away within minutes. It helps reduce redness, cracking, and heals broken skin. Rough patches take a bit longer to disappear. The scent is a herbal, minty eucalyptus. I actually like the natural, minty scent, and so does my daughter. After about half an hour, the strong minty smell goes away, and you are left with a very subtle beeswax scent. You may not even notice it. I have eaten with my hands after having applied the product on them and did not taste it at all (which was my problem with Shea Moisture). Overall, an amazing product. It takes awhile to apply but is well worth it for eczema sufferers.
