I already have a tube of the pomegranate “flavor“ I bought from a drug store last year and love it. It has just the right amount of tint and smells like a natural fruit. Not sure if it really smells like pomegranate, but it smells fruity. The two tubes I received from Amazon have an earthy or musty smell, with a bit of fruity scent underneath it, but nothing like the old one. They also do not feel the same on the lips. Where the old tube’s balm goes on easy and feels like it’s moisturizing, these feel more waxy and not as smooth. I don’t normally buy cosmetics off of Amazon because you just don’t know how long they’ve been sitting on the shelf and it’s very hard to return anything like that. But with Burt’s Bees I assumed I would be getting a quality product. I know it’s Burt’s Bees because it came in the box that it usually comes in at the store and the tubes are sealed and are obviously Burt’s Bees brand. Just be aware if you buy this, or really anything cosmetic, off of this site you may not be getting the same thing you bought from another place.

I’m allergic to some chapstick type products that have petroleum in them. They make my lips swell up and hurt. This one is pure and safe for me to use without any fear of allergic response. I like the taste and soft rosy color. I use the plain mint one at night without color so I buy that too.

I’ve always licked my lips too much, but this item has really helped me break that habit. Yes it is a little expensive, however, this item is absolutely worth it because the vanilla is excellent. I love the way it smells, especially considering I wear a mask all day I can smell it from under the mask. Unfortunately, I cannot speak on the sun protection But every other function, it seems to perform very well
