Butterfly Learning Toy - 4 Piece Set Shows Metamorphasis Of A Butterfly

Used these for our butterfly flight house to show the butterfly lifecycle to guests. Just had to cover up the bits where it says “made in China”.

A perfect way to let my homeschooled daughter see the stages of the life cycle of a butterfly.She loved it.It was very well made,and perfect for science.

This book was well received by preschoolers through second grade; and I am sure it could be used in even higher grades. I used it along with the Insect Lore Butterfly Life Cycle Stages toy also sold by Amazon. Used together they made an excellent tool for teaching metamorphosis to the age group I had. I liked it so much I ordered more books and Life Cycle Stages bugs for additional lessons.

We got this at our house for our homeschool units on butterflies and life cycles. The pieces are sturdy and durable! My children are 5, 3 and 1 and they all enjoyed playing with the toys. The older kids enjoyed putting them in order of stages and my 1 year old had fun just playing with the pieces. I strongly recommend these for educational use as well as just something fun for a kid to play with!!

Great for young learners

I wish the egg had been smaller and on a leaf. I think keeping the size ratio correct across all 4 stages is important.

Love it!!! Hesitated at first but figured it wouldnt be a huge disappointment if the set wasnt great (since its not very expensive). These are nice and big!! And my daughter and her friends love looking at them. We purchased to go along with the caterpillar to butterfly habitat we purchased. This is for Painted Lady Butterflies and the live Caterpillars we have in our set are Painted Ladies as well. Great!

These replicas of a butterflys life stage are a great assest in the classroom. The students are able to closely examine the replicas and really understand each stage more clearly. My son got a hold of these before I could bring them to my classroom. He is 3 and he enjoyed looking at each piece. Eventhough, he didnt understand all of the stages he knew about caterpillars and butterflies. These would be great for a classroom and/or for a child who is interested in the world around him/her.

This is a great resource. I use it during my butterfly unit. My students love touching it. It is useful during the learning process.
