You need a large padlock bug enough to lock the ends together. Plastic coated to not scratch up your gear.

Purchased this to wind thru both wheels and frame of my EBike, and on thru the door entry handle of my RV. Hopefully deter thieves lol! It rolls up handily and rides in my saddle bag. Beefy, plastic coated, and does the job well! This one is 3/8” in thickness; a thinner one is 1/4” and a few dollars less.

Exactly as needed. Love that it isnt springy so its easy to coil back up, and easy to place across multiple bikes without having to fight the cable.

This is a very high-quality steel cable covered in a plastic coating. I use them to chain up canoes and kayaks. It’s nice to have them in such a long length. The end loops are rather large. Would buy again. About the thickness of a pointer finger!

I bought this to secure my expensive portable solar panels to my RV when it is in storage. The diameter is a reasonable size to work with my padlock. It is well protected against weather. This will dissuade the casual thief from taking my solar panels, but probably not the serious thief who might have a power grinder that would go through anything.

It is heftier than I thought it would be. This works well securing my two kayaks to my roof rack.
