Great little small garage compressor that runs quiet, except for the auto drain, you will jump when that turns on. Piped it outside through the garage wall now everything is quiet. Has a 10 gallon tank, its small but keeps up fairly well using it with power tools, air gun and anything that requires 120psi of air. For me the size, the, sound and performance fit . Jim M

My unit was also damaged like mentioned in other reviews. This thing is pretty big and cumbersome to send back, I wish I had an option from Amazon to get some kind of partial refund or allowance since the item was damaged. Important to note, there was no visual damage to packaging, so not sure if I received a used/returned unit? Other than that, the air compressor is great, very quiet and works brilliantly. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a smaller air compressor for a garage where you might be concerned with noise.

    Greater than one week

Only thing better than a quiet air compressor, is one that works with reliability. Parts are readily available from manufacturer. Never had an issue with these small units. Be aware they are heavier than they appear. Was delivered in packaging suitable for shipping.

I ordered two different California Air Tools compressors and this compressor came in damaged. It looked like it was dropped or something. It was scratched and the valve in the bottom was broken off. We didnt get around to installing this one for two weeks but when we contacted California Air Tools they immediately sent out parts to fix the broken pieces. I give their support an A+.

The auto drain will make you jump. It need not: tune the flow down with a needle valve. For a few bucks, bothersome LOUD periodic noise gone. With that revision, this is a good compressor. After a few days of minimal use, a leak formed at the threaded port at the tank top to the solenoid valve. Probably Teflon tape will fix it, but I am disappointed it wasn’t air tight and bombproof from factory.
