Canon CLI-42 8 PK Value Pack Ink, 8 Pack Compatible to PIXMA PRO-100

Very nice ink for the Canon Pro-100 printer. Costly, of course, but I have not needed to reprint anything yet. By the way, the Gray and Light Gray tanks were the first to empty by far on my first set, even though all prints were on high quality photo color settings. 14 were 13x19 and two were 8.5 x 11. Many of the prints were low-key (lots of dark shadows) so that might account for the Grays coming into play. The CLI-42 carts are for the Canon Pixma Pro-100 only, so Im a little worried about availability down the road.

A necessary expense for Pro 100 printer . Amazon Prime fast delivery allows me to wait till the last moment to repurchase.

I now buy all of my color ink from Amazon Prime. My Canon color printer is the best, but as you know, it goes thru ink too quickly. I buy the set of 8 again and again. Best price.

I like the Canon Pro-100 printer a lot and using the proper Canon ink just makes sense.

Print quality is amazing

The inks okay, but Canons availability for this item has been limited at best. When I purchased my Pro-100 in December there seemed to be no problem finding ink for the printer, but within a couple of months Canon had run out not only on Amazon, but o their own webiste. I emailed them to see when they might be getting anymore 8pk in and they said they could not give any estimates on out of stock items. Well, I waited and as I waited the price went up from $99 to $114. I expect the fluctuation in prices, so I didnt hesitate to order a box from Amazon as soon as it became available. I have been a bit disenchanted with Canon as of late. Between not honoring their rebates and not having ink available for their Pro-100, which they were literally giving away at times, I feel the company uses fraudulent sale tactics to lure customers in. Its really too bad, because they make a great product and I love the printer, but my husband has been so upset with the problems I have had he has decided to buy an Epson instead.

Not much to say - its ink. Combined with the Pro-100 it produces wonderful prints! Based on price the 8 pack is the way to go.

Bought this ink to supplement the purchase of the Canon PIXMA PRO-100. It arrived before the printer did, but after using the setup ink that came with the printer, these cartridges have performed as expected. They produce bright, accrate prints that I display in my home. The Print quality is such that they I would use them for production printing for sales once I get to that point with my photography.
