Costly as all printer ink, but using authentic Canon ink is worth it.

Get your ink from the manufacturer, it costs more but how can you put a price on quality. I really dont care about folks buying the cheaper knock off brands, thats their business, and something in their workflow will suffer for it. In this case, as in most others, you get what you pay for.

I like the value , the colors which last long and more beautiful than others. But if the price can be 25/100 lower, then it will be excellent and no one will buy other brands which is much lower in price.

The ink is fine, I just believe, overall, the price of inks overpriced everywhere. Ink is really expdnsive for my budget, So unless the price becomes 25% less or so than what it is, Ill never be fully satisfied with the printer inks I have to purchase.

Ink is expensive, but one thing I never do is put other than genuine Canon ink in my printer. CLI-42 inks always make beautiful prints. Excellent, with brilliant results.

Always love fast service. Although refillable ink is cheaper, I always use the Canon because I never have problems with their product. It works better in maintaining true colors on my photos and doesnt smear or leak.

Several times over the past year the printer has read an empty ink cartridge when in fact I had half a tank left. Canon support has told me that this is extra ink left in the cartridge so it doesn’t take up air and create lines in my photos. I don’t quite understand why it requires half a tank to do so, especially when the ink is so expensive. I was, however, told a bit of a hack. If your printer does this, do not replace the cartridge if it has ink left in it. You can reset the counter for the cartridge by holding down the middle button, the one blinking yellow, for five seconds. You do run the risk, according to Canon, of having lines in your photos but I’d rather you have the ink I pay for.

This is Genuine Canon ink, but just know that Canons utility will tell you to change your ink earlier than you need to and well these ink cartridges are not cheap so be weary.
