> 3 dayThe canvas I bought is first rate. It is heavy duty with well made material but reading the last sentence is quite confusing. the description it says :These tarps are not intended for cars (autos), boats, or highway use. Please explain because the canvas look incredibly strong.

> 3 dayI grew up using canvas tarps. I have endured the flimsy nylon things now prevalent, so was extremely pleased to find this. Was moving and needed a sturdy tarp to cover items loaded in my pickup. Worked great over a 300 mile long trip.

> 3 dayCanvas is durable, water proof, soft and moldable (not stiff), heavy enough the edges dont flip up or blow over. All the $ wasted over the years on cheap thin tarps that blew off, ripped or were too thin-- never again.

> 3 dayWe use this over a hog panel shelter for our cows. Rain and this year high winds 4 out of 7 nights. Most other tarps would have shredded by now and wastes our time and money. These tarps are well-made and worth every penny.

> 3 dayDrove from AZ to OR with bikes, totes, and other random things in the back of the truck. Secured the tarp with bungee cords and then a shock cord cargo net. Wasn’t fully covering everything on the sides (bikes), probably leaving a 14 inch gap between the bed rail and the tarp. Everything was bone dry. Pretty much most of I5 in Oregon was hard, hard rain. Tarp didn’t get saturated or anything. Only issue I had was one of the nylon loops ripped due to how I had it secured. The tarp was tented over the handlebars on the bikes and started to rub a small hole through the tarp. This will easily be patched and was not a fault of the tarp. If I had been thinking I would have taped some cardboard or something around the bars at those contact points. I’ll be buying some more of these to make some bicycle panniers! Very happy with the price and quality

Greater than one weekI ordered the 7 by 9 (seven foot by nine foot) tarp. Overall Im pleased with it, and would recommend it to anyone who needs a water-resistant, sunlight-blocking tarp. Since Im not an expert on tarps or canvas, its hard to say exactly how high-quality this item is, but it seems to be sturdy and rugged. I guess time will tell: I currently have it in the backyard covering a barbeque grill, mini-fridge, and some other items I dont want damaged by the elements. Coincidentally, I installed this tarp during the early afternoon, and it looked like ominous weather. By 5pm that same day, strong winds and rain hit my city. The tarp handled the wind and rain admirably: didnt get soaked, and didnt even come close to tearing loose. My only complaint with this WHITEDUCK canvas tarp is that the spacing of the grommets is slightly wrong. They advertised 24 (twenty-four inches) between grommets, but in fact its more like 25 or 25.5. This was a minor problem for me, and now the tarp is a bit looser that Id prefer. Oh well; its good enough for now.

> 3 dayI bought this to cover my outdoor patio furniture which is a delicate wood. My wife and I spent 3-4 hours protecting the wood by putting teal oil on it. We bought a cover for the furniture to protect it from the elements (we live in the Baltimore/DC area so lots of rain, hot sun, extreme wind, and occasional snow). The cover we bought was advertised as being “tough” but it ripped, weathered, and flakes out in under two years. I can already tell that this White Duck Outdoors canvas tarp is a much higher quality material than the “heavy duty” cover we just threw away. The canvas tarp is probably 3 times more expensive, but we have a canvas grill cover that is still in the same shape as it was two years ago when we bought it and it has endured the same weather as the “heavy duty” furniture cover that broke down after two years. We used some zip-ties and tie-down straps to secure the canvas tarp to the patio furniture (roughly 12ft length X 5ft width X 3.5 ft height).
