My previous one was just a cheap magnet one that my phone would keep sliding on, this one holds it great.

I have tried a lot of these over the years. This works great, I have a larger smartphone, and it fits fine. Vibration and bounce is at a minimum. It seems to have attached real good. They provide 3 options for attachment. Flat on the dash, up on the windshield or in the vent. Different pieces are provided for each option. The only thing that isnt great is the release button for the phone is in the back behind the phone. I can live with that, its a good holder.
