Im an older seasoned automotive technician, Im reviewing this product based on my many years of experience in the field using high quality parts, supplies, and tools. We use this style of plastic retainer kits in the shop nearly every day. This kit has plenty of retainers and also includes a panel removal tool along with a set of plastic tools which are useful in different applications. Price point is considered reasonable for this item.

This kit comes with a nice selection of different connectors. I was able to refasten my Camrys front bumper with a few of them the day I got them! Good kit to keep in the shop for when these little guys get broken or lost.

Quality case quality pieces, great tool

This is a very nice kit for the price. I needed this to replace some of the pins for plastic pieces under my hood and on the grill of my truck, and they worked great. The kit also comes with clip removers, which came in very handy recently when we swapped out the stereo in another car we have. This kit also includes some very unique zip ties. I havent tried them yet, but I can think of some applications they would be very useful for. I am really happy with this, and it will be very handy to have in the garage.

This is a nice set of retainer clips and the removal tools needed to remove them properly. Im always losing and damaging retainer clips when working on my vehicles and using the improper tool (usually a screwdriver) to remove them. Now I finally have replacements for those and the proper tool to remove them without damaging them. The only reason Im giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the container has just a blank page on the outfacing top. The chart of the different retainers is printed on the inside cover. That same chart should also be on the outside so you can easily see whats inside the container (see pictures). That being said, I can still recommend them. I will probably just copy the inside cover and tape a copy of it on the outside.

These fasteners always become brittle with time so they are going to break. Its not unusual for people to be ham fisted removing them. So this is a good set that can be kept together for when you need them. Most sizes appear to be covered and the tools are decent and should last well.

Mysteriously, every time someone services my vehicle, they forget to return those push retainers. Other clips just deteriorate and fall out. Or simply jump into the engine block never to be found. Considering the really massive price that car dealers charge if they ever have spare clips, this kit comes really handy if this happens, and the last clip for the battery cover etc is gone. I also love that there are plenty of useful tools to take the clips off, which can be a true problem.

I do a lot of DIY auto repair which requires a lot of pulling panels that are affixed via a variety of plastic clips. This variety pack of clips is AWESOME!! Nothing is more of a pain with an auto repair or upgrade than having a 10 cent fastener break on a $200 repair. Having this variety pack of fasteners will surely bring a lot of peace of mind when popping fasteners. A solid plus with this product is that it includes several trim removal tools. I have my own set, but nice to have backups. Very happy with this item.
