Carr & Day & Martin 500ml Belvoir Leather Balsam Intensive Conditioner

It smells horrific compared to Effax or Passier balms, it gives me migraines like no other. It’a also more granular in texture which I don’t care for. I’m a saddle fitter and have to use balms a lot for work on older saddles, and having to deal with this stuff has been a literal headache. I’m using it until it’s done because it does technically work, but just spend the extra couple bucks for effax. Smells better, better texture, and applies more even. -certified saddle fitter

After cleaning my saddle I apply a coating of this and it gets very well absorbed. Keeps leather feeling subtle and looking great. Eastt to apply and does a superior job.

I did a test sample and the smell was very very disgustingly sweet so I never used this product. I dont know how the leather actually responds.

Loved that it brings back old tack I thought was beyond resurrection as well as help maintain a favorite purse.

LOVE this stuff! Ive had one jar (as I only have one horse/saddle) and have had it for years. Its hard not to overuse b/c its softens and conditions so nicely. Ive limited my use now to twice a year and my dressage saddle is soft like budda! :)

Wow. Two people who board at our farm suggested getting Leather Balsam for my tack and I tried this brand yesterday. It definitely softens the leather of my saddle, bridle and field boots! Its a Vaseline-type consistency, which Im not used to, but it definitely changes the leather immediately. I used a small sponge instead of the one it comes with, which Im sure is fine. Good product! Wish I knew about it years ago.

This balm is heaven for my tack and boots. It is absorbed well by the leather making is soft and supple. It also smells quite nice. The only downside is the integrity of the sponge it comes with isnt the best so I end up using my own tack sponges about halfway through the jar because the sponge it comes with starts breaking apart into little pieces. Still a wonderful product that Ill always have on hand!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this leather conditioner! It smells fantastic and works beautifully! There is no Residue left behind and it keeps your leather goods nice and soft. I use it on my bridles, saddles, riding chaps and even use it on my hands as lotion. You won’t be disappointed!!
