I bought this for a two week winter trip to Europe. Checking a bag would have cost $150 and I figured I could buy anything I needed for that money. There was no issue putting it - fully expanded - in the overhead compartments of Delta or KLM flights, even in their smaller planes where some wheeled carry-ons didnt fit. A wheeled bag would have been difficult on the cobblestone streets around the train stations. The zips and straps seem strong. I used compression cubes instead of the matching cubes that came with the backpack.

UPDATE: this company stood behind their backpack and I’m so glad they did - the strap broke 2 days after my return period and when I left a poor review, they shipped me a brand new one, so happy as I DO really like the backpack! I loved this bag, at first. It’s has great storage. I used it 3 times in the last 30 days, and it’s coming apart at the seems. Poor craftsmanship and unfortunately I am 2 days past the return window. Would not recommend.

I bought this for an upcoming 4 day/3 night trip. Being that it is a short trip and I can avoid checking luggage, I thought this would be perfect, since I also wouldn’t need to roll it around. The packing cubes are a nice addition, but the bag itself is just meh. The shoulder straps are hidden in the back pocket but then that doesn’t allow you use to use that pocket for storage since there’s no way to zip it back. The chest strap also seems to not adjust tight enough if you are of a smaller frame, same with the shoulder straps. Honestly, this is nothing more than an extra large backpack. It lacks structure that I imagine will impact the long term durability. I also agree with others that a water bottle holder would have been a nice addition. However, since it is roomy and comes with the packing cubes, I’ll keep it and hope for the best.

Appears well made. Nice feel to fabric and zippers are smooth. The packing cubes are a nice addition, but just so-so quality. Only a single zipper pull per bag and zipping action not as smooth. 100% would purchase again. Did not try as carry on, but excellent for 2 week road trip. Highly recommend.

I chose the biggest carry-on size backpack/suitcase I could find. This one is a few inches bigger than most others I found, but for something Ill need to carry on my back everywhere, I wish I had gone smaller. When fully packed, this thing is heavy and huge and there were lots of times I wished it had wheels. I wore this all over the UK, through the London Underground, on buses and shuttles, and walking all over the freaking place and I can definitely say its decent quality. Definitely sturdy, it looks nice, and it can fit tons of stuff. But if youre going this size, prepare for your shoulders and neck to suffer the consequences.

Really like this bag. Has plenty of space and the back pack option is great. Used it for a business trip and being able to carry everything in one bag was ideal for carry on purposes.

I bought this for my wife so we could avoid paying extra for baggage.She wanted something different than a regular backpack. We purchased it and she has used on three flights. It worked perfect and she loved the extra storage containers. We have shared this find with others and the bought them also.
