Had to use this for a recent travel to CA, it worked well for the most part and held lots of things. Only thing I didn’t like was the zipper part on the inside ripped with hardly nothing in there. Also side note, don’t over pack cause it can get heavy….I accidentally dropped some coins in the airport and tried to pick them up and over fell backwards :( hahaha! Safe travels everyone !

This pack I just purchased does not have padding built in around the sides and in the front panel. The padding in the front inner panel and in the back are not as thick as my previous pack. The fabric of the pack is not quite as thick and tough as the previous pack. I really liked the size and design and function of my previous pack which is the reason I purchased this new one for my wife. I have to say I am very disappointed.

This 2 in 1 backpack/suitcase really is a must in every household! Even if you’re not a traveler, student or a hiker, this bag is perfect as a bag to have already prepared in case an emergency evacuation. You can fit SO SO MUCH into it. Plus, it’s lightweight.
