Cast Iron Dachshund Doorstop by GSM

I have a pantry door that would not stay all the way open (my house is not perfectly level). We love dachsunds and when I found this I immediately ordered it. It is perfect in every way! It is heavy enough to keep my pantry door open when Im going in and out putting up groceries or when Im gathering items needed to prepare a meal. I like that I can use my foot to slide the dachsund out of the way if I want to shut the door and use my foot (I have back problems) to slide it back to hold the door open. Its the perfect weight to hold the door but also not so heavy that it leaves an indentation in my flooring. I also purchased the dachsund paper towel holder in cast iron for my kitchen. I love the cast iron!!

this is an awesome piece of art. It doorstop is a male, which my puppy is a male. I use this on my end table for decoration next to his picture.

This is a very cool little doorstop for any Dachshund lover. I was a little apprehensive about whether the size and weight would suit the purpose, but it does.

Ordered two of these for my mom and sister who are both doxie moms. They are so cute and high quality!! I might just have to order more so my mom has them as door stoppers all over the house.
