This mat holds canned food in the included bowl and has room for a larger bowl of dry food. The rubber surface keeps the dry food bowl from sliding around and, of course, the included bowl rests securely in the recessed area of the mat. I wanted a second bowl for the canned food so I could always have a clean one ready at meal times, but the manufacturer advised they dont sell the bowls separately. However, I decided to try the 6.83 fl. oz. bowl in the Catit Single Dish (and Double Dish) holders

This was amazing. We got it to protect our stuff from cat water fountain mess and found a bonus in the cat included cat bowl. Everything is together and stays clean.

I use this under the Catit water fountain and it works as designed. SUGARPLUM isnt a messy drinker but there are a few spots on it on occasion. It saved a cleanup once when I was adding water to the fountain and had some spill from the container I was using. It is easy to clean There was a comment on a previous review about the edges not laying flat because of being tightly rolled up in the packaging - I just reverse-rolled it, put a couple of elastic bands around it for a day and it lays flat now. Not a large problem. It looks good and compliments the fountain. I recommend purchasing this mat, youll be satisfied with your choice.

This is great for the price. I have 2 cats so the bowl is a little small. The food spills over a little on to the mat. The cats have managed to dump over the water fountain twice since we started using this which was never an issue before when the fountain was sitting on the floor. Overall it was a good purchase.

Our cats fountain is in our hallway making it very visible to all guests. This mat is the perfect size and looks stylish compared to the previous mat we used. Its easy to clean and seems good quality. Very happy with the purchase.

This fits perfectly under the catit water dish and has a raised edge to catch drips and splashes. Easy to rinse or wipe clean and non slip. Extends about 1 inch out from the base of the water dish.

I was looking for something that would work with my Rumba. I had previously purchased the water fountain part, and that was fine. But the Rumba would crash into my previous food bowl like a football player - ugh!! This, however, has a slight lip to the perimeter of it, and when my Rumba comes across it, it turns in a different direction, which is great in my opinion. I wish that there was an extra bowl that came with it, so I could wash/swap them out, but that isnt enough of an issue to reduce the rating my 20% (to 4 stars). This has also stopped the scattered food on my floors (as my oh-so-smart cat likes to knock a single piece out of the bowl and bat it around like a toy - lol). The lip contains the straggler food pieces from being batted all over my house. Thats always a plus in my book!
