Without having all my tools available, I just made a starter hole with a nail having a smaller diameter and installed.

I hanged my plant from the ceiling… few minutes later it came down killing my poor spider plant which was probably 5lbs at the most. I’m so upset. I had this plant for a year.

For really light items these are fine not for much else

I wanted to hang a lightweight decorative votive holder in an arch in my hallway. I ended up with a big hole! Since the arch is plasterboard and not solid wood these wont work so I am returning them. With that said, this is not an issue with the hooks, it is the construction of the archway that is at issue. The hooks were very well made and would work perfectly when placed in solid wood. The seller was excellent about communicating with me and refunded my money. I would definitely order items from this seller in the future.

Great value and quality. Used the hooks for hanging coffee cups, organizing hats and drying laundry outside.

Easy to screw in, feel very durable. Better than what I found at the store - and because they are white, they blend in well on white ceilings.

These are very nice,white rubberized coating,very sturdy and strong enough for most applications.I wouldnt recommend anything too heavy,but hanging baskets of flowers,etc.works very well.
