The fact that the bell doesnt ring isnt a deal killer for me, but isnt the whole point of these bells that they ring to keep bad spirits away or something? I bought it to use as a bike key fob, so it works for me, but the lack of ringability seemed to warrant the loss of a star. Nonetheless, Im happy.

Doesn’t ring. Very disappointing. I notice that many of the other reviews rave about how wonderful a gift it is. I think maybe the receivers of those gifts are just being polite.
