> 24 hourBB&B conveniently deleted my review, so I am posting it here so people know they are paying way to much for something that will not last. We don’t travel often, but I recently opted to finally trade in our use of duffel bags for a real case. I purchased this from BB&B, and on its first use during a road trip it was great. Unfortunately, it didn’t survive its second use, as seen in the photos. While flying, it survived the trip there weighing in at a hefty 35lbs because of what was in it, though all the weight was evenly distributed. Much of that weight was lifted on the trip back, however, and it weighed roughly 20-25lbs on the return flight. As seen, it had been completely obliterated. Even worse, my husband was flying with a cat in close proximity to him, and he is very allergic. So rather than take it to some sort of claim area, I opted to take care of that later and get my husband to some allergy medications before his eyes swelled up and the night ended in a trip to the emergency department. When we got home we also found that although it weighed far less on the flights back, a TSA agent had searched the bag and placed a binder and small paperback textbook to one side of the bag - the side that had broken - rather than repacking it as my husband had had it, leaving it a little weighty on one side. In trying to contact Delta, I found that we had to have someone at the airport inspect the damage; as stated before, at the time it was more important to get to allergy medications, so obviously that didn’t happen. Then in seeing about trying to get compensation or a replacement from Samsonite, we were out of luck because of the repacking from the TSA agent throwing most of the weight (even though the case really didn’t weight that much at that time) to one side meant they could just claim the product had been mishandled. So, here we are with an almost $200 case that should have lasted for years, but was only used twice. I hulk threw it into the dumpster and walked away knowing I had wasted that money. I definitely do not recommend this product to anyone.

> 24 hourWas a little hesitant to buy a “used” one. Arrived in time for vacation in great condition, now I have all the matching pieces and travel was easy

> 24 hourI love this luggage, it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made. Perfect for short trips and fits in the overhead bin even when it’s expanded. (only flown on JetBlue so far)

> 24 hourWith Samsonite the manufacturer one would thing durability. Not to much. There is no reinforcement around the handles. The airlines even tagged them as lift caution

> 24 hourThe green isn’t as vivid as shown on Amazon but it’s still very pretty. The box was severely damaged but thankfully my luggage was safe. I watch a YouTube video to learn how to reset my TSA locks on the 24” and 28”. There isn’t a lock on the small carry on piece. To reset lock, put lock on 000, push end button to release. Push a pen into the small hole located next to combination lock. You hear a click. It has reset the lock. Now enter your new code as you hold down the push button on end. After entering new code, release the push button. New code is set. Watch YouTube video if you have problems. All the info on line doesn’t tell you really how to reset. The small pen hole does the trick. I haven’t used the luggage so I don’t know how durable it is. All my previous Samsonite luggage has held up very well!
